So, If I haven't previously mentioned, I have a new job. I run the kitchen at my local cafe Lowlands Espresso. Its a nice little place. The photos above are by my friend Clara who is the front of house manager. 

We have recently re written the menu for a more Autumn-y feel. The top image is of a dish from the Summer menu, Dench Brioche with candied pistachios & citrus zest, caramelized nectarine, mashed banana and micro herbs. It was pretty rad. 

The last photograph is of a new menu item. Avo on toasted Dench Sourdough with preserved grapefruit, fetta, lemon juice, EVOO and micro herbs.

WE GOT MARRIED!
Hence the total lack of blogging in the last..hmmm....4 months! Yeah, ah sorry about that but WE GOT MARRIED!

Our wedding was super low key, backyard style, vintage inspired awesomeness. SO many friends and family helped make it happen and we are SO grateful! We had pom pom's in our fig trees, our names yarn bombed across our cyclone wire fence, mixed posies of flowers in jars and a cake buffet all made from the Australian Women's Weekly Birthday Cake Book!

My husby-to-be has a new band with his older brother Michael! Also in the band is Richie and Jim from Eagle And The Worm. They are super adorable, surf tune playing, matching suit wearing, extremely handsome... BOYS. And they are playing a free show at Meet Me At Mikes this coming Monday night!
